Acrylic Paintings

Having painted in pastel for a number of years I started getting a bit frustrated with having to frame everything and mount under glass. I'd tried painting in acrylic before, but with limited success, but I decided to at least give it another go.

I looked at some websites and watched some videos about acrylic painting and then tried it out. My early attempts are shown in my blog, and gave me sufficient encouragement to persevere. The paintings shown below start from the first that I consider to be of saleable quality.
